Delete in the app
Open Settings (the gear icon on the Summary or Garage screen) in Fuellow. If you are signed in, choose Delete account and confirm with Google; your account, vehicles, and fuel records are deleted immediately. If you use Fuellow as a guest, choose Delete all data to delete your guest vehicles, fuel records, and anonymous account.
Guest accounts have no email address, so we cannot find guest data from an email request. Please use Delete all data in the app before you uninstall it.
Send a deletion request
Email us from the Google email address you use to sign in to Fuellow. Include “Fuellow account deletion request” in the subject and confirm that you want your account and associated data deleted.
This opens your email app. Send the message to submit your request. If no email app opens, email [email protected] with the subject “Fuellow account deletion request”.
If you can no longer access your sign-in email, contact [email protected] and explain the situation. We may request information needed to verify that the account belongs to you. Never send us your password, Google verification codes, or payment card details.
What will be deleted?
- Your Fuellow authentication account.
- Your Fuellow profile, saved preferences, and account identifiers in the active service.
- All vehicles saved under your account.
- The fuel entries and associated records for those vehicles.
Account deletion is permanent. It does not delete your Google account or data you keep independently outside Fuellow. Uninstalling the app or signing out is not an account deletion request.
What happens next?
- Send the request from your account email address.
- We verify ownership and contact you if more information is necessary.
- We remove your account and associated records from the active service and confirm completion.
We process verified requests without undue delay and within applicable legal time limits. Our reply will explain expected timing and any necessary verification. If limited information must be retained for a legal obligation, dispute resolution, or abuse prevention, we will explain the reason where applicable. Provider logs and residual backup copies follow the provider’s retention processes. See the retention section of our privacy policy.
Only want to remove a record?
To delete one fill-up, open it from your history and choose delete. To remove a vehicle and its fuel entries, open the vehicle editor in your garage and choose delete. These actions remove selected records without closing your account.
After deleting your account, clear local app data or uninstall the app to remove any remaining device cache.
